Austrian elections: All good things come in fours
Austria will go to the polls for the fourth time in 18 months this weekend. Will the last Eurozone election of the year finally bring a turbulent political year to a close?
Executive summary
Austria's election on 15 October has not been on Europe's radar screen so far. However, the country could become (once again) the first core European country with a populist party in government.
With the economy running smoothly and in healthy condition, the focus of the election campaign has shifted to social equity, tax reliefs and the ongoing migration crisis.
