The coronavirus risk to the eurozone’s frail market
Eurozone consumer confidence, along with other indicators, has been rising recently. But just as the manufacturing recession appears to be almost over, the coronavirus is starting to cast a shadow. ING’s Bert Colijn has already noticed that manufacturing supply times are getting longer largely because of the Covid-19 prevention measures in China. He says there’s little reason to be overly optimistic about eurozone growth.
