Vojtech Benda

Vojtech has more than 20 years of experience in both central and commercial banking. In 1998 he started his professional career in the monetary department of the Czech National Bank as an economic analyst responsible for macroeconomic analyses and forecasts. From 2006 to 2012, he was a member of the ING EMEA Research team as a Senior Economist, responsible for providing economic analysis of the Czech Republic. In 2014, he returned to the CNB as an adviser to the bank board and later, from 2016 to 2022, he was a CNB board member.
